With over a decade of well-crafted coffees in the local area, Tony and Anna Nicolaou, owners of Michel’s Patisserie Narellan and Coffee & Co., know a thing or two about how to stir-up the daily rise n’ grind.
How long have you been in business?
This is our 14th year in Narellan as proud owners of a Michel’s Patisserie.
What made you want to open a Michel’s?
Michel’s was our choice because it is a trusted brand that has a great reputation with the community. Michel’s also has a great community following, their customers enjoy their fine crafted coffee and the savoury and sweet selection available. The cakes that Michel’s produce are always at a high standard that customers get for their special events.
What do you love about Narellan?
Narellan is a great suburb to have a business as it’s a close-knit community. The shopping centre is a great one to stage a business, and the suburb is very much an ‘up and coming’ area that has a range of attractions for different people.
What does a typical day look like?
A typical day at our cafe would be greeting our regular customers and watching all our customers intermingled as they have their coffee – and catching up with our regulars, of course!

Our customers come from all different walks of life, from young families just starting out in the area, to professionals working in the city. We have connected with all our customers and always have time for a chat .
What are you most proud of?
We are proud of the wonderful friendships we have made and the wonderful friendship that our customers have made with other customers just by meeting in our store!
