Buying or selling in a LOCKED DOWN LGA? Here’s the scoop.

Moving home is a huge personal milestone at any given time – even more momentous in a lockdown.

All the usual concerns about local market conditions, not getting the right price or having people walk through your home, tend to be amplified by thoughts about restrictions impacting sales prices, contact transmission at private inspections or not being able to inspect a property from your LGA.

Here’s what you need to know: the Public Health Order was recently amended to include inspecting properties for the purpose of investment. 

It is a reasonable excuse to leave home to buy a property (and has been through lockdown), and this was recently extended to purchasing an investment – even where crossing LGAs is required.
