Oran Park, located 60 km south-west of Sydney CBD, is part of the local government area of Camden Council and is in the Macarthur region.

Originally inhabited by the Muringong people, European settlers developed country estates there and a golf club and a racing circuit were part of later developments. Today, the area has been taken over by suburban development.

Development is in progress at Oran Park. The vision is to create a town that would be able to accommodate the projected surge in population and allow them to live a modern lifestyle with all the basic needs and comforts right at their fingertips.

Oran Park is a suburb for families. Education is easily accessible as most schools are found near the town centre. Students have many options: Oran Park Primary School, Oran Park Anglican College and St. Justin’s Catholic Parish Primary School.

Oran Park Podium is the town’s retail and commercial hub, featuring 31 specialty shops, a Woolworths, cafes and restaurants, the Integrated Health Care Centre and the Smart Work Hub, a professional environment that can be shared by both remote workers and small businesses.

For residents of Oran Park, the closest train station is Leppington, which is a 25-minute bus ride away on Interline bus via Camden Valley Way. Busabout buses also service the area. New bus services have been introduced to make it easier for residents to connect to train stations.

The town has been built to be pedestrian-friendly. You can get around safely and easily by walking or cycling. The streets feature footpaths and wide shared pathways for walking and cycling.

Oran Park has so much open space. It is home to three sports fields and seven playgrounds, and more are being constructed.

If you are thinking of moving into the suburb, you can search for properties in Oran Park through Prudential Real Estate.
