Eagle Vale, located 56 km south-west of the Sydney CBD, is part of the local government area of the city of Campbelltown and is in the Macarthur region. 

Eagle Vale was founded in 1976 and the first housing lots were released in 1978, continuing on into the 1980s, with smaller blocks of land released in the 1990s.

The types of dwellings are a combination of old style homes and modern homes. It offers ease of access to different amenities and the cost of living in the area is reasonably affordable. With a friendly neighbourhood, close proximity to schools and convenient access to public transportation, the suburb is ideal for growing families.

You will find good local shops for groceries and other services within the suburb. Eagle Vale Marketplace offers an easy and friendly shopping experience, featuring Woolworths, a Reject Shop, a medical centre and various stores and eating places. Plus, for more shopping options, the Macarthur Square and Campbelltown Mall are a short drive away from the suburb.

Eagle Vale is home to several parks and reserves that the whole family can enjoy. Eagle Farm Reserve on Emerald Drive has BBQ facilities, a pond and a pathway for bikes and walking. Thomas Clarkson Reserve offers a large space for relaxation and recreation, perfect for taking a walk or a bike ride. If you are a bit more active, or looking for water play, swimming and other fitness and wellness activities, you will have fun at the Eagle Vale Central.

Busabout buses provide regular services throughout the suburb and to and from neighbouring suburbs. While Eagle Vale has no train station of its own, you can take the train from Minto or Campbelltown, if you are traveling to the CBD. You can also drive to the city via the Hume Motorway and the M5.
